Let me Introduce You

A community focussed on helping you promote your talents

Welcome to Let Me Introduce You

A community focussed on helping women to promote their talents and explaining what makes you the special and gifted professional that you know (deep down) you really are.
The concept is simple: allow someone with a more holistic view of you to do it for you!

Who is Let Me Introduce You for?
What are we offering?

Our members are women in digital or computing roles looking for support in an industry with a poor track record of diversity and inclusion.

Our focus will be on lifting each other up and encouraging those who struggle with traditional styles of networking to find their voice.

This includes making the experience as accessible and inclusive as possible, and getting feedback from members on how to make it easier for them and to make them feel included.

Networking can take any form - as part of a group, one-to-one, in person or online, and for no-one to feel lonely or unable to access the help they need.

We want to offer our members:

A safe space to talk about challenges: job hunting, pitching for work.

The opportunity to find mentors, or train to be a mentor

A community of members and allies who can offer informal support specific to women

Our Goals:

Make it easier to get introduced to others
Ensure the community focuses on intimacy rather than an anonymity
Overcome nervousness when joining a new community
Support
Helping women to put themselves forward, be confident and ‘pitch’ more
Scenarios where we want to help:
 • Interviews and work opportunities
 • Applying for Speaking opportunities
 • Any time putting a positive spin on yourself makes you feel uncomfortable

Mentors and Coaches

Help women in a STEM or computing field to find mentoring, advice or coaching

Impostor Syndrome

Raise awareness of Imposter syndrome, how it affects mental health and provide resources and advice

Inclusive Networking

Make networking more inclusive and accessible for introverts, the non-neurotypical or anyone who struggles with traditional styles of networking.
